The Quercus suber (Sughera) plant is a tree belonging to the Fagaceae family and widespread in the Mediterranean countries, with an enlarged bearing, it can reach 20 meters in height. The most evident characteristic of this species is the development of the outermost layer of the bark which forms a rough, deeply furrowed coating, called Cork.
